Why Maternify Mom Was Created

A Missing Support System

The inspiration behind Maternify Mom comes from a firsthand postpartum journey that lacked the necessary care and resources. After undergoing a C-section with a second child, while also caring for a toddler, rest was not an option. The lack of a support system made recovery difficult and exhausting, leading to swelling, delayed healing, and struggles with physical discomfort.

The Emotional Toll of Postpartum

Having a child during COVID-19 added an extra layer of isolation to an already overwhelming experience. Seeking connection, the founder turned to Facebook groups and online mom communities, but none truly captured the sense of belonging and understanding that postpartum mothers crave.

The Overlooked Mental Health Struggles

Sleep deprivation, anxiety, and the demands of being a full-time caretaker made self-care feel nearly impossible. Managing physical healing while balancing the needs of a newborn and a household led to declining mental and physical health, including spiking blood sugar levels and emotional exhaustion.
